Recipe: Duane’s Hummus

Summary: This is a very tasty hummus recipe.


  • 2 cup garbanzo beans
  • 1/4 cup tahini sesame butter
  • 1 medium lemon squeezed
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 6 clove garlic
  • 1 teaspoon cumin ground
  • 2 tablespoon fresh parsley or cilantro
  • 1 tablespoon tumeric


  1. Put everything in your food processor or blender, and blend until smooth.
  2. Serve with Greek-style pita and veggies, or as a condiment on falafels or sandwiches.


Try adding roasted red peppers or spinach.
